Stormy’s Diary - June 27, 1950

Today at 1:00 PM Mother left me in the basement and went away, and it wasn’t until 5:15 P.M. that she got back then at 7:30 P.M. she left me again and didn’t come back until 11:00 P.M.  When they got home Richard put me to bed in the basement.

How depressing!  Today’s entry reads a little like Stormy’s Life in the Gulag.

  1. Oh, Stormy, what hast thou done to deserve the basement?  I hope it didn’t have anything to do with that Piddling On The Mixer Committee Incident.

    (Actually, it makes me wonder what Mother was up to that she didnt’ want Stormy around for about six hours.)
