Stormy’s Diary - June 16, 1950

Today I played with Carol and Judy Vetter.  There were on skis.  At 5 to 6 Richard came and told Carol to come home.  I went home with Richard. Carol got home at 6:10.

Let me tell you what this is, Dear Reader.  This is an alibi.  This is an affadavit, actually, is what it is.  This is documentation, in case it is ever needed, that Richard told Carol to come home at 5 minutes to 6, and that she was late despite the fact that he delivered his message in plenty of time for her to get home on time.  This is how looney my grandmother made my Dad:  in his dog’s private diary, he is swearing that, whatever happened, it was not his fault.

  1. I see Stormy as a character witness here.

(Actually, this may be my very favorite Stormy entry yet.)
