Stormy’s Diary - August 15, 1950

Today everyone kept leaving the house.  At 3:45 Mother an Carol left for Carols dance.  At 4:15 Richard left to play basketball.  At night Richard went to a movie.  He got home at 11:30.

Ooooh!  11:30 is a little late to be coming home, Richard!  Geez, what’s Stormy doing anyway, sitting by the door with a watch all day?  Also, this is a rare instance where Stormy felt the need to record the actual date—April 1st.

  1. Stormy had a little chart and a pencil.  Like a trainspotter, only he was a Sackersonspotter.  Carol went to a dance with her mother?  Radical!
