Lost Angeleno
Stormy’s Diary - continued
All right, stop your bellyaching—here at long last is another entry in Stormy’s Diary. It can’t have escaped anyone’s attention that the blog has lain fallow for a little while. I seem to have lost interest. Hopefully interest will be renewed soon, but I won’t make any promises I can’t keep. Meanwhile, let’s see what Stormy and his boy Richard are up to, shall we? Remember, as always, that these pre-printed dates in the book are inaccurate—it says June here, but it’s actually January 1950.
June 8, 1950
When Richard got home from Sunday school he chased me. He caught me about 3 times. He fell down twice the ground was wet. He threw a snowball at me but he missed me.
- StormyJune 9, 1950
Today I fought with Richard. I played with Guppie, Hnak and Sandy.
- StormyJune 10, 1950
Same thing.
- StormyJune 11, 1950
Today I played with Richard and Mother. Also I played with all my dog friends.
- Stormy
Hardly worth the wait, was it? Nothing very thrilling in these entries. I must say, though, that Stormy’s penmanship is improving markedly, one of these weeks I will post another scan.

Stormy!
Richard went to Sunday School. Nice.
It’s nice Stormy’s a good dog and plays with Mother. and Hnak.
I like the entry, “Same thing.” The ho-hum life of a dog.

I’m afraid Dishy fails the “How Well Did You Read” test.
