Lost Angeleno
Stormy’s Diary - continued
All right, gang—time once again to visit the private diary of Stormy, a young pup in 1950 Seattle, and his boy Richard (my Dad). Let’s see what’s new with Stormy:
June 1, 1950
The family
stayedwent skiing. I stayed home.

Today I went to the doctor’s because I am sick. I have to stay overnight there. I don’t like it.
- StormyJune 3, 1950
Last night it snowed this morning it rained. The weather is awful.
- StormyJune 4, 1950
All the snow is melting and it is wet out and I don’t like it.
- StormyJune 5, 1950
Its still wet. It rained out the snow is melting.
- Stormy
Well, I’m afraid we didn’t get very many insights into what makes Stormy tick this week. Mostly that he doesn’t like snow. Too bad he didn’t expand on his overnight vet stay, that might have brought some drama. Poor Stormy—had to stay home alone while everyone else went skiing, then the doctor, and then he had to experience the frustration of Pacific Northwest winters—snow, rain, snow, rain. Hope next week brings better news for our pup.

I can just see Stormy looking out the window, saying, “This weather is awful.”
(Then going to the doctor some more.)
