Keith still didn’t get the total lunacy of what McCain is saying. McCain said it didn’t matter when troups came home so long as they weren’t being harmed. He then equated military bases in Iraq to those in Japan and Europe. In other words he’s saying peace will happen in Iraq, they will have a democracy, and we will have a peacetime presence like in Japan the last 60 years. Under those conditions it doesn’t matter because no one is fighting. He never actually said he wants war to continue for years and it doesn’t matter, as Keith implies.
The reality of the situation is we’ll never get peace over there like in Japan and Europe. As long as we stay in Iraq there will be attacks against us. What McCain is saying is nonsense.
I wish Keith or someone would investigate why the war is happening at all. It was started on lies because the administration knew the public would never accept the real reason. To this day we’ve never been told the real reason. Everyone has opinions but I think someone owes us an explanation. Why are still there? What are they trying to accomplish?
Why aren’t the democrats telling us? It isn’t enough to say you’re against the war when you don’t even know what it’s about.

Awesome! I just now got around to watching it! He’s awesome! McCain is just not with it. I saw him recently on the Conan O’Brien Show and he was a ding-a-ling. Good Lord! I could barely stand to watch it. He’s just as bad with public speaking as Bush is. I think they’re cut from the same cloth.
Thanks for posting the segment!
