Lost Angeleno - Stormy’s Diary - Sept. 10Today I brought Mother an old baby shoe. I chewed it all up before the day was over. I like to bring things to mother. Stormy’s starting to sound a little like Norman Bates. Posted on Sep 10, 2008 - 08:00 AM

Most Recent Movie - La Grande Illusion (1937)Jean Renoir’s timeless study of of war, with great performances from all, but especially so from Jean Gabin and Erich von Stroheim. I wish I’d kept it in the Tivo for a while, I would have liked to watch it again and get a better perspective on it. A very moving and very real portrait of war, which neither vilifies the enemy nor glorifies the heroes, but humanizes all. Posted on Apr 17, 2005 - 05:33 PM
